A Wake-Up Call for the Last Days

If you lost everything you lean on right now, would you still love Him?
faith over comfort
Let's be real. We are living in a culture that worships comfort.
But, what would you do if everything you leaned on to "feel good" suddenly vanished?
There is nothing wrong with organic groceries, self care routines, sunday resets, or building a perfect pinterest morning....until it becomes a false sense of security.
Would you still choose Jesus, or would you crumble under pressure?
The world has taught that "comfort" equals peace. But here is the issue, comfort can't save your soul.
When persecution comes and freedom is stripped away, many believers will fall because their faith was built on comfort instead of Christ.
when faith gets uncomfortable
Imagine waking up tomorrow and suddenly, everything you used to feel "safe" is gone.
The gym? Gone.
Healthy eating? Gone.
Choosing a job? Gone.
Church gathering? Gone.
Even your physical Bible?
It's easy to feel strong in your faith when life is predictable.
But what happens when comfort is no longer an option?
Would your faith still stand?
Jesus already warned us:
“Whoever does not take up their cross and follow Me is not worthy of Me. Whoever finds their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life for My sake will find it.” ~ Matthew 10:38-39
Let's bring this into reality:
This verse isn't just about physical suffering.
It's about surrendering the grip on the life you are trying to build and dying to self.
And you know what this looks like today?
It's when God tells you:
Let go of that job even it it wrecks your sense of security.
Walk away from that relationship even if it breaks your heart.
Say yes to what I'm asking, even if it costs your comfort.

we are in the last days...persecution is coming
I am not trying to scare you.
I'm here to warn you.
The Bible is not shy about:
“Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.” ~ 2 Timothy 3:12
This verse hits different when you realize what it really means is still for today.
Persecution isn't just something that happened in Bible times.
It's a last day promise coming full force and it's will shake our comfort HARD.
If your faith depends on routines, health, or pleasure,
and your foundation isn't Jesus alone,
everything not rooted in Him will fall.
There are people in other nations right now losing their literal lives to follow Jesus.
Some people can't even gather publicly, own a Bible, or speak about their faith.
Yet, here we are (myself included) panicking when we can't meal prep or our daily "self-care routine" is interrupted.
Your life on earth is not about protecting your body at all costs.
It's about standing firm for the One who saved your soul.

suffering for jesus
Jesus said something that most churches will never preach:
“Whoever is unwilling to lose his life for My sake cannot be My disciple.” ~ Luke 14:27
Let that sink in..
It's not about giving up chocolate during a fast.
It's not about skipping coffee or abstaining from social media for a week.
It's not about sacrificing your gym membership.
This is about laying down your entire life...
Your dreams.
Your timeline,
Your relationships.
Your comfort zone.
Everything.
It's about being willing to say:
Jesus even if it cost me everything I ever desired, I'll still follow you.
But here is the truth no one wants to face:
There is a big difference than being a "Christian" and a true disciple.
And you know what separates true followers from the rest of the world?
Willingness to suffer for Jesus.
You want to know the real anecdote to not compromising in these last days?
This revelation:
" And they overcame and conquered him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, for they did not love their life and renounce their faith even when faced with death." ~ Revelation 12:11
What this means for you today:
The secret to unshakeable faith isn't clinging tightly to your life, but letting go of it.
Not loving your life does not mean:
Neglecting priorities
Avoiding wise choices
Living reckless and impulsively
What it actually means is:
You don't idolize your comfort zone.
Letting go of self preservation.
Value faithfulness to Jesus over keeping your life, easy, safe, or predictable.
It's not about living carelessly.. it's about giving up control.
It's when you say:
Jesus my life, my body, my dreams are Yours. I'm not here to play it safe. I'm here to follow you no matter the cost.

Your life isn't yours to protect, it's His to use.
The disciples of Jesus understood this:
They were not obsessing over wellness plans, savings account, or self-care routines.
They were not concerned with what people thought about them.
Because they knew:
My life is not my own. It's belong to My Savior.
Their peace was not tied to circumstances, but to Jesus.
That is the freedom that Revelation 12:11 is pointing to:
Victory comes when you stop clinging to your life and start surrendering.
how to avoid the comfort trap
Sis, here's the cure:
Build a personal relationship with Jesus NOW.
Learn His voice.
Let Him be your comfort.
Spend time in His presence, not just church.
Be led by the Holy Spirit daily.
Ask Him to guide and direct your steps, even if it's uncomfortable.
Pray bold prayers like, "Lord strip away any idols in my life."
Expect Suffering - But Do Not Fear It
Understand that following Jesus is not meant to be easy.
There will be ugly days, but He will meet you there.
Anchor Your Identity in Christ Alone
You are NOT you body, your success, your routines, or your wellness habits.
You are His.
And He loves you the same on the days when you are thriving and the days you're at your lowest.
jesus is enough
At the end of the day, Jesus is the only comfort that lasts.
Everything else will be shaken.
But when your trust is in Him, nothing else can steal your peace.
He is saying:
"Even if everything else is taken away, I am all you need."
That's freedom. That's Kingdom. That's unshakeable.
heart check
If the world took away everything you leaned on for comfort...
Would you still stand?
Would you still love Him?
Start preparing, now sis.
The time is coming where we will need faith that isn't built on routines but that is rooted in the immovable Rock.
“Do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, fear Him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.” ~ Matthew 10:28
This is your wake-up call.
Don't wait until it's too late to learn how to stand.
Stop trying to save a life He is calling you to surrender.
